Center for Spiritual Living
Our group has been meeting since early 2005 and after holding meetings at many different places, we finally found our permanent home at the office of the Center for Spiritual Living Princeton (formerly: Religious Science Church of Princeton) in 2008.
We talk about the contents of Neale Donald Walsch's
"Conversations With God" book series, first
published in 1995.
Currently we are reading in Book 1 of the "Conversations with God" trilogy.
We also talk about all "conversations with God" (cwG) we or others may have, and as they apply to and enrich our lives. In fact, we realize that ultimately our whole life is an entire conversation with God, how could it be otherwise…?
We honor everyone's spiritual beliefs and where he or she is coming from and there is no judgement in this group. We are all growing experientially, and becoming more of who we are and who we choose to be,
You are welcome to attend and "jump in" at any time!
We are meeting on Fridays every 1-2 months in the office of
the Center for Spiritual Living Princeton,
Please honor the time of others and show up on time. We start and end our meetings on time.
Note: We are currently also reading the CWG book “Happier Than God”. If you have it, please bring it along, too.
On November 5, 2008, we ventured out to
Read a report on this adventure here.
On June 27, 2008, Alan Teyssier shared some material of his recent book "A Contemporary God", currently available in our Church bookstore. This is an extraordinary book as Alan received his messages directly from the "Source" and they ring so true as the CWG messages do, but, as we feel, on a "higher" level of spirituality. Alan will read and share more of his book in our upcoming meetings,
On May 16, Rev. Bob Evans was our special guest who talked about his personal experience of having conversations with God.
On April 7, 2000, Neale was a guest in the Larry King Live show of CNN. Read this very interesting transcript of this encounter!
Here's a short excerpt:
KING: Did he explain illness? Did he explain death?
WALSCH: Yes, he did. Of course there is no death.
KING: There is no death?
WALSCH: Death is a great illusion. The soul simply changes form, and life is eternal. Life goes on forever. In fact there are two lesson that he taught me. He said, if you take these two lessons, everything else in your life will make sense suddenly and you'll have no more worries. These two are quite simple -- life is eternal, and we're all one. There's nobody in the room but you in various forms. You treat that person across the table exactly as you would choose to treat yourself, and then don't fear about death because you can't possibly die, because you'd change into another form.
